T500 Botanical Basket

Description

The T500 Botanical Basket allows you to vapour infuse homemade spirits with your choice of botanicals. Designed for compatible T500 distilling systems, it provides a simple way to experiment with botanical combinations and create your own gin-style and other vapour-infused spirits.

Made from stainless steel, the basket attaches to a compatible T500 Reflux or Alembic condenser for the spirit and botanical run. As vapour passes through the basket, it extracts aromatic character from the botanicals before continuing through the condenser.

With a capacity of up to 60g of botanicals, you can experiment with different combinations and quantities to develop your preferred flavour and aroma profile.

Important Compatibility Information

The T500 Botanical Basket is compatible with the T500 Reflux and Alembic Still systems.

It is not compatible with the Still Spirits CREATE+ range. CREATE+ systems require a tri-clamp compatible botanical basket.

T500 Botanical Basket Instructions

1. Make and ferment your wash as normal.
2. Perform a stripping run.
3. Before starting the spirit and botanical run, remove the nut from your T500 Reflux or Alembic condenser.
4. Attach the Botanical Basket in its place.
5. Add your chosen botanicals to the basket.
6. Complete your spirit and botanical run according to the instructions supplied with your still and Botanical Basket.

Note: When using the T500 Reflux Condenser, remove the saddles before performing the spirit and botanical run.
