Duotight 8mm One Way Check Valve – Gas

Description

The Duotight 8mm One Way Check Valve is a simple way to help protect your regulator and other gas equipment from liquid backflow. It is a useful addition when building or upgrading a kegging system.

Installed in the gas line, the valve allows gas to travel towards the keg while helping prevent liquid from flowing back towards the regulator. It has a very low opening pressure of approximately 1 psi, allowing gas to flow with minimal restriction.

The valve can also be used with clean liquids where one-way flow is required. Internal components, including the spring, are made from stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance.

Duotight Generation 2

Duotight Generation 2 fittings use a dual-material, double O-ring sealing system. The EPDM O-ring provides excellent chemical and gas resistance. Meanwhile, the silicone O-ring maintains its shape and flexibility at low temperatures.

Generation 2 fittings are manufactured from Polyketone (POK) instead of standard acetal. This material offers excellent chemical resistance, UV resistance and durability for brewing and beverage dispensing applications.

For the best seal, cut the tubing cleanly and square before inserting it into the fitting. Push the tubing firmly into the fitting until it is fully seated. To remove the tubing, press the collet in while pulling the line out.
