Description
The Duotight 8mm x 5/8″ Keg Coupler & Tap Shank Adapter provides a simple way to connect compatible 8mm OD beer or gas line to commercial keg couplers and tap shanks. It is ideal for creating neat push-in connections within a kegging system.
One side features an 8mm (5/16″) push-in connection, while the other has a 5/8″ female thread. Therefore, you can connect compatible tubing to equipment with a 5/8″ male thread without using hose clamps or traditional barbed fittings.

Duotight Generation 2
Duotight Generation 2 fittings use two O-rings made from different materials. First, the EPDM O-ring provides excellent chemical and gas resistance. Meanwhile, the silicone O-ring stays flexible at low temperatures.
Generation 2 fittings use Polyketone (POK) instead of standard acetal. As a result, POK provides excellent chemical resistance, UV resistance and durability for brewing and beverage dispensing systems.

For the best seal, first cut the tubing cleanly and square. Then push the tubing firmly into the fitting until it reaches the correct depth. To remove the tubing, press the collet in while pulling the line out.
