Description

StellarClean Powerful Brewery Wash 1kg is a powerful alkaline cleaner developed for commercial and home breweries. Also known as PBW, it helps remove stubborn organic residue from brewing equipment, including areas that can be difficult to reach with a brush or sponge.

Use StellarClean to thoroughly clean your equipment before sanitising. After cleaning and rinsing, follow with StellarSan Sanitiser 500ml to complete your cleaning and sanitising routine.

Cleaning Brewing Equipment

StellarClean can help remove thick, difficult and caked-on organic residue from brewing equipment. Depending on the application, you can use it for soaking, scrubbing, spray cleaning, CIP cleaning and recirculation.

For heavily soiled equipment, an overnight soak can help loosen and remove stubborn deposits without extensive scrubbing.

Always rinse vessels and equipment with water after cleaning.

Directions for Use

The required concentration can vary depending on the amount of residue and the cleaning method.

Concentrated Cleaning – Spray Bottles, Scrubbing & Beer Lines

Use 10–15g per litre of water.

CIP Cleaning

Use 2.5–5g per litre of water.

Soaking Kettles, Fermenters, Kegs & Tanks

Use 0.5–1g per litre of water.

One scoop is approximately 20g.

After cleaning, rinse vessels thoroughly with water.

Brewing Equipment Applications

A hot StellarClean solution can also be recirculated through pumps and counterflow chillers to help remove hidden residue from areas that are difficult to access manually.

Clean First, Then Sanitise

Cleaning and sanitising are separate stages.

StellarClean removes organic residue and build-up from brewing equipment. Once cleaning is complete, rinse the equipment thoroughly with water.

Then use StellarSan Sanitiser 500ml on the clean equipment before brewing, fermenting or bottling.

This gives you a straightforward process:

StellarClean → rinse → StellarSan → sanitise.
