The NukaTap SS Stainless Steel Beer Tap is a high quality forward sealing tap designed for smooth and reliable keg dispensing. Its stainless steel construction makes it an excellent choice for kegerators, beer fonts and home bar systems.
In addition, the NukaTap combines low thermal mass with its streamlined Gen 2 NUKASHUTTLE. As a result, it helps reduce first pour foam while providing smooth beverage flow.
Reduced First Pour Foam
A beer tap is often one of the warmest parts of a keg system because it sits outside the refrigerated area. Therefore, warm metal can cause extra foam when you first start pouring.
The NukaTap uses less thermal mass than many older tap designs. As a result, less energy is required to cool the tap during the first pour, which helps reduce unwanted foam.
Smooth Laminar Flow
The streamlined Gen 2 NUKASHUTTLE helps beverage flow smoothly through the tap with less turbulence. Consequently, even highly carbonated drinks can pour more smoothly.
The NUKASHUTTLE also uses a seamless single-piece design. Therefore, it removes the small gaps around separate seals found in some traditional tap designs.
Forward Sealing Design
Unlike many traditional rear sealing taps, the NukaTap shuts off beverage flow at the front of the tap. This design helps keep the internal tap body filled while also reducing areas where dried beverage residue, wild yeast and bacteria can build up.
As a result, the forward sealing design is well suited to regular home keg dispensing and makes cleaning easier.
Durable Seals and Smooth Operation
The NUKASHUTTLE uses a TPV rubber matrix formed over a durable PP skeleton. In addition, the sealing system is designed to withstand a wide range of beverage and cleaning conditions.
The NukaTap also avoids the metal-on-metal rubbing found in some older tap designs. Therefore, it provides a smooth operating action while helping reduce wear.
Tap Handle Compatibility
The NukaTap uses a 2.5° reverse tap handle angle. This design provides extra clearance and allows a wider range of tap handles to be used, including longer or heavier handles.
Keep Your Tap Spout Protected
When the tap is not in use, the Universal Silicone Beer Tap Spout Plug fits over the dispensing spout.
The flexible food grade silicone plug helps keep fruit flies and other contaminants away between uses. In addition, it fits tap spouts from 10mm to 17mm, making it a useful accessory for protecting your NukaTap.
