Description
The NukaTap SS Stealth Bomber Gen 2 combines the performance of the NukaTap SS with a distinctive black finish. Designed for home bars, kegerators and beer fonts, this forward sealing tap provides smooth operation and excellent beverage flow.
Unlike the original black model, the Gen 2 Stealth Bomber uses a QPQ-treated surface. This treatment improves wear and corrosion resistance while giving the stainless steel tap its dark Stealth Bomber appearance.
Reduced First Pour Foam
The NukaTap has a lower thermal mass than many older tap designs. As a result, less warm metal comes into contact with the beer during the first pour.
Therefore, less energy is needed to cool the tap. This helps reduce the first pour foam that can occur while a warm tap cools down.
Smooth Laminar Flow
Inside the tap, the streamlined Gen 2 NUKASHUTTLE helps the beverage flow smoothly with less turbulence. Consequently, the tap can provide a cleaner pour, even with highly carbonated drinks.
The NUKASHUTTLE also uses a seamless single-piece design. Therefore, it removes small gaps around separate seals where residue can collect in some traditional tap designs.
Forward Sealing Design
The NukaTap seals at the front of the tap. As a result, the internal tap body stays filled rather than draining through a vent hole after each pour.
This design helps reduce areas where wild yeast, bacteria and dried beverage residue can build up. In addition, it makes the tap well suited to regular home keg dispensing.
Durable Seals and Smooth Operation
The NUKASHUTTLE uses a TPV rubber matrix formed over a durable PP skeleton. Therefore, the sealing system can handle a wide range of beverage and cleaning conditions.
The tap also reduces the metal-on-metal contact found in some older designs. As a result, it provides smooth operation while helping reduce wear on key components.
Tap Handle Compatibility
The NukaTap uses a 2.5° reverse tap handle angle. This provides extra clearance and allows a wider range of tap handles to be used, including longer or heavier designs.
Keep Your Tap Spout Protected
When the tap is not in use, the Universal Silicone Beer Tap Spout Plug fits over the dispensing spout.
The flexible food grade silicone plug helps keep fruit flies and other contaminants away between uses. In addition, it fits tap spouts from 10mm to 17mm, making it a useful accessory for protecting your NukaTap.
