NukaTap Duotight Compatible Stainless Steel Short Shank

Description

The NukaTap Duotight Compatible Stainless Steel Short Shank provides a compact connection for mounting compatible beer taps to kegerator fonts and dispensing towers. Its stainless steel construction provides a durable beer-contact surface for home keg dispensing systems.

The short design makes it particularly useful where installation space is limited. For example, it suits compatible kegerator fonts and can replace the short shank used in many 3-inch diameter beer towers.

Duotight Compatible Connection

This short shank features a connection designed for use with compatible Duotight push-in fittings. As a result, you can create a neat beverage line connection without using a traditional long hose barb and clamp arrangement.

For an 8mm OD beverage line setup, pair the shank with our separately sold Duotight 8mm to 6.35mm Reducer.

Please note: The Duotight reducer is sold separately and is not included with this short shank.

Beverage Line Options

Once connected through a suitable Duotight fitting, the shank works well with 8mm OD beverage tubing. For example, choose our Beer Line 4mm ID × 8mm OD when you need the greater flow restriction provided by the smaller internal diameter.

Alternatively, our Beer Line 5mm ID × 8mm OD provides another option for compatible keg dispensing systems.

Compatible NukaTap Beer Taps

The short shank provides a mounting point for compatible beer taps. In particular, pair it with our NukaTap SS Stainless Steel Beer Tap or NukaTap SS Stealth Bomber Gen 2.

Its compact design also makes it a useful replacement or upgrade when building a compatible kegerator or beer tower dispensing system.
