Description
The Low2 Swing Top Bottle Seal is a replacement yellow seal designed for compatible flip top and swing top bottles. It is particularly useful when bottling oxygen-sensitive beverages such as hoppy beers and bright lagers.
Low2 Yellow Bottle Seal
Oxygen exposure can affect the flavour, aroma and freshness of bottled beer over time. This is particularly important with hop-forward beer styles where fresh hop aroma and flavour are a major part of the finished beer.
For beverages where reducing oxygen exposure is important, the Low2 yellow seal can be used in place of standard red silicone swing top bottle seals.
Replacing worn or ageing seals is also an important part of maintaining reusable swing top bottles. A fresh seal helps provide a reliable closure when bottles are used again for another batch of home brew.
Suitable for Home Brew Bottling
Swing top bottles provide a convenient alternative to crown seal bottles because the closure can be opened and closed without a bottle capper. However, the seal itself is a working part of the closure and may eventually need replacing.
Keeping replacement seals available means you can change them when required rather than replacing an otherwise reusable bottle and swing top closure.
