KegLand MK4 Nylon Regulator Washer

Description

The Nylon Regulator Washer is a replacement sealing washer for older KegLand MK series CO2 regulators. It suits KegLand MK1, MK2, MK3 and MK4 regulators and helps create a secure seal at the gas cylinder connection.

Although we no longer stock the older MK4 regulator, we continue to stock this washer as a replacement part for customers who already own compatible KegLand regulators.

Nylon Regulator Washer Compatibility

This replacement washer suits the following KegLand regulator models:

• MK1 Regulator
• MK2 Regulator
• MK3 Regulator
• MK4 Regulator

Importantly, this washer does not fit the current KegLand MK5 regulator. The MK5 uses a different sealing system and requires its own soft red Easy-Tight washer.

If you own an MK5, use our KegLand MK5 Regulator Easy-Tight Washer instead.

Washer Dimensions

• Outside Diameter: 18mm
• Inside Diameter: 11.4mm
• Thickness: 3.55mm
• Material: Nylon
• Compatibility: KegLand MK1, MK2, MK3 and MK4 regulators
• Not Compatible With: KegLand MK5 regulator

Maintaining the Cylinder Seal

The Nylon Regulator Washer sits between the compatible regulator connection and gas cylinder. When you tighten the regulator connection, the washer helps form the required seal.

Therefore, inspect the washer when servicing or reconnecting an older regulator. Replace it if you notice damage, excessive wear or deformation.

KegLand advises that plumber’s tape is not required for this connection. Instead, the washer creates the seal when you correctly tighten the regulator connection.

Choosing the Correct Regulator Washer

KegLand changed the sealing washer with the introduction of the MK5 regulator. As a result, choosing the washer that matches your regulator model is important.

Use this Nylon Regulator Washer for compatible MK1 through MK4 regulators. However, choose the red MK5 Easy-Tight Washer if you own the newer MK5 model.
