Filters & Carbon are used to help improve the purity, taste and aroma of neutral alcohol and spirits. Activated carbon filtration can help remove unwanted organic compounds and impurities that may contribute undesirable flavours, odours or colour.

Activated carbon works by adsorbing impurities as the alcohol passes through the carbon. For effective filtration, the alcohol should pass through at an appropriate flow rate, allowing sufficient contact time with the carbon.
