Easy Siphon

Description

The Easy Siphon provides a convenient way to transfer beer, wine, cider and other home brewed liquids between suitable vessels. Its simple pumping action starts the flow without needing to manually draw liquid through the transfer hose.

Once the flow begins, gravity continues moving the liquid into a lower receiving vessel. This makes the siphon useful for transferring finished brews while helping you leave unwanted sediment behind.

Easy Siphon for Liquid Transfers

Place the siphon into your fermenter or other source vessel, then position the receiving vessel below it. Connect suitable food-grade tubing to the outlet before starting the transfer.

Use the pumping action to begin the flow. Once established, gravity will continue the transfer without repeated pumping.

Position the intake above the sediment layer when transferring fermented beer, wine or cider. This helps reduce the amount of settled yeast and other material carried into the receiving vessel.

Clean and Sanitise Before Use

Always clean and sanitise equipment that will contact your brew before starting a transfer. This includes the siphon, tubing and receiving vessel.

After use, rinse the equipment promptly to remove brewing residue. Clean it thoroughly and allow it to dry before storage so it is ready for your next batch.
