Samuel Willard’s Sambuca Nero Liqueur delivers a distinctive star anise flavour with a rich sweetness and a pleasantly spicy finish. Inspired by the traditional Italian sambuca style, this essence creates a delicious anise-flavoured liqueur for your home bar.

Enjoy Sambuca Nero neat or over ice as an after-dinner drink. For a traditional Italian-style serving, add a few coffee beans to your glass. Its bold anise flavour also makes it an interesting addition to coffee or liqueur-based cocktails.

Mixing Instructions

Add the contents of the 50 ml bottle to 790 ml of 40% ABV neutral spirit or vodka.

Add Still Spirits Liqueur Base A.

Alternatively, use 150 g of sugar and 100 ml of liquid glucose instead of the liqueur base.

Mix thoroughly, top up to 1.125 L with water and shake well.

Each 50 ml bottle makes 1.125 L of finished sambuca liqueur, equivalent to one and a half 750 ml bottles.
