Spirits Unlimited Dark Rum

Description

Create a rich, full-bodied rum-style spirit with Spirits Unlimited Dark Rum. This concentrated 50ml essence delivers bold molasses flavours and a smooth finish, capturing the character of a classic dark rum.

Unlike heavily oaked rum styles, this essence focuses on deep molasses notes and a rich, rounded body. As a result, it produces a bold spirit without strong woody flavours. Its dark colour also adds to the appeal of the finished rum.

Enjoy it neat, over ice or mixed with your favourite rum mixers. Whether you prefer a classic rum and cola or a refreshing dark rum cocktail, this essence offers plenty of options.

Each 50ml bottle flavours up to 5L of neutral spirit at approximately 40% ABV.

Mixing Instructions

1. Add 10ml of Spirits Unlimited Dark Rum per litre of approximately 40% ABV neutral spirit or vodka.
2. Stir or shake thoroughly until completely combined.
3. Allow the finished spirit to age for 7 days before drinking.

During this resting period, the rich molasses flavours develop and blend together. As a result, the finished rum-style spirit becomes smoother and more balanced.

For best results, use a clean, high-quality neutral spirit.
