This grey pressure relief valve has an opening pressure of 100 PSI (6.9 bar) and provides a replacement for compatible ball lock keg lid PRVs.
Grey 100 PSI Pressure Relief Valve
A pressure relief valve is an important part of a pressurised keg system. This valve is manufactured to the Cornelius standard and provides a 100 PSI (6.9 bar) opening pressure.
The pull ring also allows you to manually operate the valve when you need to release pressure from a compatible keg.
Compatible Ball Lock Keg Lid
This PRV is compatible with our Ball Lock Keg Lid with PRV & LOW2 O-Ring.
That complete replacement lid suits our 19L and 9.5L Ball Lock Kegs. Therefore, this PRV provides a useful replacement part when the lid itself remains serviceable but its pressure relief valve needs replacing.
Keep the PRV Clean
Keep the pressure relief valve clean so it can operate correctly.
Dried beer, sugar or other residue can interfere with the valve and affect its opening pressure. Therefore, inspect and clean the PRV as part of routine keg servicing.
If contamination enters the valve, clean it before returning the keg to service.
Compatibility
This grey PRV suits compatible Cornelius-style keg lids and is the pull-ring style commonly used on ball lock kegs.
However, keg lids and pressure relief valves can vary between manufacturers and older keg designs. Check your existing valve and lid compatibility before replacing a PRV on an older or second-hand keg.
