Description

Southerner Malt Whisky Chips are made from authentic Southerner barrels, providing genuine barrel-aged oak character for homemade spirits.

These whisky chips are ideal for adding depth, colour and mature woody notes to whisky-style spirits. The seasoned oak helps develop a richer and more rounded character without the need to age your spirit in a full-size barrel.

For best results, allow the chips to soak in your filtered spirit for at least 10 days. Longer contact times can produce a stronger oak influence, so taste periodically until you achieve your preferred character.

Southerner Malt Whisky Chips Instructions:

• Add 10–15 grams of chips per litre of filtered spirit.
• Allow to soak for a minimum of 10 days.
• Taste periodically and continue ageing until the desired oak character is achieved.
• Add Whisky Essence to taste if desired.
