Duotight 8mm Ball Lock Disconnect – Black/Yellow Liquid

Description

The Duotight 8mm Ball Lock Disconnect – Black/Yellow Liquid combines a liquid-side ball lock disconnect with an integrated 8mm Duotight push-in fitting.

Simply push compatible 8mm OD beverage line directly into the disconnect. Therefore, there is no need for a separate MFL adapter or hose clamp.

Liquid-Side Ball Lock Disconnect

The black and yellow colour coding identifies this disconnect for liquid-side use.

It connects directly to a compatible Ball Lock Keg Liquid Post – 19/32″. As a result, it provides a compact connection between your keg and beverage line.

Integrated 8mm Duotight Connection

The integrated Duotight fitting accepts compatible 8mm OD line.

For beverage dispensing setups, it can be used with our Beer Line 4mm ID × 8mm OD or Beer Line 5mm ID × 8mm OD.

Cut the tubing squarely before inserting it fully into the fitting. Once seated correctly, the Duotight connection holds the line without a separate clamp.

Duotight Gen 2 Construction

Duotight Gen 2 fittings use durable POK construction rather than standard acetal.

In addition, the sealing system combines EPDM and silicone O-rings. The two materials provide a reliable seal while offering good resistance to common brewery cleaning and sanitising chemicals.

Stainless steel springs and ball bearings are also used within the disconnect.

Compact and Easy to Clean

The low-profile design helps reduce the amount of space required above a keg. This can be particularly useful when several kegs share a fridge or kegerator.

The disconnect can also be taken apart without tools. Therefore, cleaning and sanitising the internal components is straightforward.
