Impressence Rye Whiskey

Description

Create a delicious rye whiskey-style spirit at home with Impressence Rye Whiskey. This 50ml sachet delivers a balanced combination of fruit and spice notes, producing a distinctive whiskey character with a smooth, warming finish.

Ideal for enjoying neat, over ice or mixed into your favourite whiskey cocktails, each sachet flavours 1.25L of neutral spirit or vodka at 40% ABV.

Mixing Instructions

1. Empty the entire 50ml sachet into a suitable mixing vessel.
2. Add 40% ABV neutral spirit or vodka, topping up to a total volume of 1.25L.
3. Rinse any remaining essence from the sachet with a small amount of alcohol.
4. Stir or shake thoroughly until completely combined.

Allow the finished spirit to rest for at least 24 hours before drinking. This helps the flavours develop and creates a smoother, more balanced result.

Optional Oak Ageing

For additional depth and complexity, consider ageing your finished spirit with oak chips or in an oak barrel.

Even a small amount of oak ageing can enhance the whiskey character, adding subtle woody notes while improving smoothness and complexity.
