Description
The Pure Distilling Gin Basket 360mm is a stainless steel mesh basket designed for use inside the Pure Distilling Reflux Condenser. It allows you to use mixed botanicals during distillation to create your own botanical spirit and gin-style flavour profiles.
At 360mm long, the basket hangs inside the reflux condenser from the thermowell. Its stainless steel mesh construction allows vapour to pass through the botanicals during distillation, extracting their aromatic flavours.
Holds Around 160g of Botanicals
The Pure Distilling Gin Basket can hold approximately 160g of mixed botanicals. Therefore, you can experiment with different combinations of juniper, herbs, spices, citrus peel and other suitable botanicals to create your preferred flavour profile.
Designed for the Pure Distilling Reflux Condenser
A built-in hook allows the basket to hang from the thermowell inside the condenser. However, you will need to remove the existing stainless steel condenser mesh before installing the gin basket.
For this reason, Pure Distilling recommends reading both the Gin Basket instructions and Condenser Mesh Repacking instructions before use.
