Air-Cooled Distilling with Still Spirits VORTEX

Still Spirits VORTEX brings air-cooled condenser technology to home distilling, providing an alternative to traditional product condensers that require a continuous supply of cooling water.

The VORTEX Air Cooled Condenser uses stainless steel product tubes, aluminium cooling fins and three integrated fans to remove heat during operation. Adjustable fan speed provides control over cooling performance without continuously running water through the condenser.

The range includes reflux and alembic equipment kits as well as complete equipment bundles and comprehensive distillery packages.

VORTEX Reflux Distilling

VORTEX reflux systems are designed for customers wanting an air-cooled reflux configuration.

The Still Spirits VORTEX Reflux Equipment Kit uses two VORTEX Air Cooled Condenser modules together with modular CREATE+ components. Pair it with compatible equipment to create the complete reflux setup.

For a more convenient package, VORTEX Reflux Complete Equipment and Complete Distillery bundles bring compatible components together rather than requiring them to be purchased individually.

The reflux equipment can also be reconfigured for water-free alembic distillation, providing additional flexibility as your distilling setup develops.

VORTEX Alembic Distilling

For flavourful spirits, distilled water and hydrosols, VORTEX is also available in an alembic configuration.

The Still Spirits VORTEX Alembic Equipment Kit combines one VORTEX Air Cooled Condenser with compatible CREATE+ modular components.

Pair the equipment kit with the CREATE+ Alembic Copper Dome and CREATE+ Boiler 25L to complete the main alembic setup. Alternatively, choose one of the complete VORTEX Alembic bundles where these compatible components are already grouped together.

Equipment Kits, Equipment Bundles or Complete Distillery Bundles?

The VORTEX range gives you several ways to build your system depending on the equipment you already own.

Equipment Kits contain the VORTEX condenser equipment and compatible CREATE+ components for the selected reflux or alembic configuration. Additional equipment such as the boiler, and in some configurations the copper dome, is required separately.

Complete Equipment Bundles combine the VORTEX equipment with the major compatible hardware needed to create the main distilling setup.

Complete Distillery Bundles go further by adding the CREATE+ Complete Companion Kit. These packages provide supporting fermentation, measuring, filtering, cleaning and flavouring equipment and ingredients alongside the main distilling system.

Still Spirits VORTEX works with selected equipment from the modular CREATE+ range.

The 2-inch tri-clamp system allows compatible components to connect securely while providing flexibility across different distilling configurations. As a result, customers can choose individual components, build a system progressively or select one of the complete VORTEX packages.
