Duotight 8mm Ball Lock Disconnect – Grey/Red Gas

Description

The Duotight 8mm Ball Lock Disconnect – Grey/Red Gas combines a gas-side ball lock disconnect with an integrated 8mm Duotight push-in connection.

As a result, compatible 8mm OD line pushes directly into the disconnect. There is no need for a separate threaded adapter, hose barb or clamp.

Grey and Red Gas Identification

The grey body and red colour coding identify this disconnect for gas-side use.

Therefore, you can quickly distinguish the gas connection from a liquid disconnect when setting up or servicing your kegging system.

Integrated 8mm Duotight Connection

The built-in 8mm Duotight Gen 2 fitting accepts compatible 8mm OD tubing.

Simply make a clean, straight cut on the tubing and push it fully into the fitting. In addition, the push-in design keeps the connection compact and removes the need for extra line fittings.

Duotight Gen 2 Design

The integrated Duotight Gen 2 fitting uses a dual-material double O-ring sealing system.

An EPDM O-ring provides chemical and gas resistance, while a silicone O-ring maintains flexibility at low temperatures. Furthermore, the fitting uses durable Polyketone (POK) construction.

Compact and Easy to Clean

The compact design helps reduce the space required above the keg. Therefore, it can be particularly useful where keg fridge or kegerator space is limited.

You can also take the disconnect apart without tools for cleaning and sanitising. As a result, routine maintenance and access to the internal components are straightforward.
