Description
The Ball Lock Keg Gas Post – 19/32″ is a replacement gas-in post for compatible Cornelius-style ball lock kegs.
It features a 19/32″ female thread and includes the post O-ring. However, the internal spring and poppet are not included.
Gas-In Ball Lock Post
This post fits the gas-in side of a compatible ball lock keg. Therefore, it provides the connection point for a gas ball lock disconnect when carbonating or dispensing from the keg.
Gas and liquid ball lock posts are different. In particular, this gas post has a score or strike around the post to help identify it as the gas side.
A gas ball lock disconnect should only connect to the gas post. Likewise, a liquid ball lock disconnect belongs on the liquid post.
Compatible Gas Disconnects
For a direct push-in connection with compatible 8mm OD line, use our Duotight 8mm Ball Lock Disconnect – Grey/Red Gas.
Alternatively, our Ball Lock Disconnect – Grey Gas Barb provides a traditional barbed connection for compatible gas line.
Both options connect directly to this gas post. Therefore, you can choose the connection style that best suits your kegging setup.
Compatible Ball Lock Kegs
This 19/32″ gas post suits compatible Cornelius-style ball lock kegs, including our 19L Ball Lock Keg – Stainless Steeland 9.5L Ball Lock Keg – Stainless Steel.
However, keg post threads can vary between manufacturers and older keg designs. Therefore, check the thread on your existing keg before ordering a replacement post.
Post O-Ring Included
The gas post includes a Ball Lock Keg Post O-Ring – Red Gas.
The O-ring seals around the outside of the post and also provides the sealing surface for the gas disconnect. As a result, keeping this seal in good condition is important for a reliable gas connection.
Spring and Poppet Not Included
The internal spring and poppet are not included with this replacement post.
