Designed for Flavourful Pot Distillation

As vapour rises from the boiler, it travels through the Copper Dome and into the Copper Condenser. Consequently, the vapour receives extensive contact with copper throughout the distillation process.

Meanwhile, the alembic design allows more character from the fermented wash to carry through into the finished distillate than a reflux system.

Therefore, the system is particularly suitable for whiskey, bourbon-style spirits, rum, gin and other spirit styles where flavour from the original wash is desirable.

Copper Dome

The Create+ Alembic Copper Dome provides a traditional domed copper vapour path above the boiler.

In addition, the domed design provides a large copper surface area while allowing desirable flavours and aromas from the wash to continue through the system.

Copper Condenser

Next, vapour leaving the dome travels into the Create+ Alembic Copper Condenser.

The condenser then uses cooling water to remove heat from the vapour and convert it back into liquid distillate for collection.

Meanwhile, its copper construction continues the copper vapour path established by the dome.

Create+ Boiler 25 L

In comparison, the Create+ Boiler 25 L provides the heating platform for the complete Alembic Distilling System.

With both element switches turned on, the Australian 220–240V boiler operates at its full 2200W output. Alternatively, switch one element off to reduce the heating power to 1100W.

For additional protection, the boiler includes a boil dry reset and thermal cut-out fuse. In addition, it features a waste discharge tap with a stainless steel ball valve and a boiler lid with a 48mm opening.

Up to 70% ABV Before Dilution
