Description
The Create+ T500 Distilling System combines the Create+ T500 Column & Condenser with the Create+ Boiler 25 L to provide a complete reflux distilling system. In addition, it combines a 304-grade stainless steel reflux column, pre-packed copper and stainless steel saddles and a 2200W dual element boiler.
Under suitable operating conditions, the T500 can produce spirit at up to 93% ABV before dilution. As a result, it is ideal for producing clean neutral spirit for vodka-style spirits or as a base for spirit flavourings, gin and other botanical spirits.
Furthermore, the system is suitable for distilling water.

304-Grade Stainless Steel T500
The T500 is an all-in-one reflux column and condenser constructed from 304-grade stainless steel.
Its integrated design combines the reflux column and condenser in one unit. In addition, the column comes pre-packed with copper and stainless steel saddles to provide the surface area required for effective reflux distillation.
During distillation, the copper provides important contact with the vapour and helps remove unwanted sulphur compounds. Meanwhile, the stainless steel saddles provide a large surface area for repeated condensation and evaporation inside the reflux column.
As a result, the two packing materials work together to help produce clean, high-purity distillate.
Up to 93% ABV Before Dilution
When used with a suitable wash and operated correctly, the Create+ T500 can produce distillate at up to 93% ABV before dilution.
For example, using a 25 litre Turbo Classic 8 Production Pack wash prepared with 6kg of sugar, the system can produce approximately 8 litres at 40% ABV after dilution.
However, actual yield and purity can vary depending on the wash, fermentation, operating conditions and distillation technique.
25 Litre Dual Element Boiler
The included Create+ Boiler 25 L provides a maximum heating power of 2200W.
With both element switches turned on, the boiler operates at full 2200W power. Alternatively, switch one element off to reduce the heating power to 1100W.
Therefore, the dual element design provides greater control over the boiler output during distillation.
For additional protection, the boiler includes a boil dry reset and thermal cut-out fuse. In addition, it features a waste discharge tap with a stainless steel ball valve and a boiler lid with a 48mm opening.
2 Inch Tri-Clamp Compatibility
The Create+ T500 Column & Condenser connects using a 2 inch tri-clamp, allowing it to integrate with compatible 2 inch tri-clamp distilling accessories.
Likewise, the Create+ Boiler 25 L includes a 2 inch Tri-Clamp to DN40 Threaded Adapter.
As a result, the modular Create+ design provides flexibility for compatible accessories, attachments and alternative distilling configurations.
Cooling Water Connection
A faucet adaptor is included with the T500 Column & Condenser to simplify connection to a compatible cooling water supply.
When used with the Create+ Water Flow Regulator, average cooling water consumption is approximately 200 litres per 25 litre distillation.
Therefore, maintaining suitable cooling water flow is an important part of operating the T500 reflux condenser correctly.
Suitable for Neutral Spirit and Distilled Water
The Create+ T500 is designed primarily for reflux distillation and the production of clean neutral spirit.
Consequently, the resulting neutral alcohol provides a versatile base for vodka-style spirits, spirit flavourings, gin and other botanical spirits.
Alternatively, the system can be used for distilling water. In this case, the copper and stainless steel column packing provides extensive surface contact, helping separate impurities throughout the distillation process.
