Still Spirits Easy Filter System

Description

The Still Spirits Easy Filter System is a simple carbon filtration system that helps remove unwanted flavours, aromas and impurities from distilled spirit. It is easy to assemble and provides a convenient way to polish neutral spirit before adding your chosen spirit or liqueur flavourings.

The system uses a replaceable Easy Filter Carbon Cartridge and gravity filtration to process up to 8L of 50% ABV spirit at a time. As the spirit passes through the compressed activated carbon, the carbon adsorbs unwanted compounds. As a result, you can produce a cleaner and smoother finished spirit.

In addition, you can use the Easy Filter System to filter water, making it a versatile addition to your spirit-making equipment.

Using the Easy Filter System

First, assemble the filtration system and install the carbon cartridge according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Next, add the prepared spirit to the upper reservoir. Gravity then draws the spirit through the carbon cartridge and into the lower reservoir.

When filtering alcohol, use one carbon cartridge for each batch. Therefore, replace the cartridge before filtering your next batch to maintain effective filtration.
