Description
The CREATE+ Sight Glass Bubble Plate is designed for use with compatible 2-inch tri-clamp distilling systems. It combines a clear sight glass with a copper bubble plate, allowing you to visually monitor activity inside the column during distillation.
Bubble plates are designed to promote reflux within the column while providing useful visual feedback during operation. The sight glass uses durable borosilicate glass with 304 grade stainless steel construction, while the included bubble plate is made from copper with a stainless steel guide ramp.

Installation & Support Considerations
When using the CREATE+ Sight Glass Bubble Plate as part of a larger column assembly, take the total height, weight and balance of the complete setup into account.
The Still Spirits Boiler Lid and Alembic Dome are primarily designed for small to medium-sized distilling setups without heavy or significantly off-centre attachments.
They are suitable for assemblies within the following specifications:
- Total column and condenser height up to 1.1 m from the lid or dome
- Total column and condenser weight up to 11 kg
- Up to 2 kg of off-centre weight from a swan neck, lyne arm or parallel condenser
- Off-centre components positioned up to 160 mm from the main column
External support is recommended if the complete column and condenser exceed these specifications, if a lyne arm creates substantial off-centre loading, or if the assembled column is noticeably leaning.
