Complete Air-Cooled Reflux Distilling Equipment
Bring the main components of the VORTEX system together in one package. This complete equipment bundle combines the Still Spirits VORTEX Reflux Equipment Kit with the CREATE+ Boiler 25L, providing the boiler, air-cooled condensers and modular components required for a complete VORTEX reflux equipment setup.
Instead of continuously running cooling water through a conventional condenser, VORTEX uses forced air to remove heat during distillation. Two VORTEX Air Cooled Condenser modules use integrated fans and aluminium cooling fins, with adjustable fan speed providing control over cooling performance.
The result is a highly flexible reflux system for locations where a continuous cooling-water supply is inconvenient or undesirable.
VORTEX Reflux Equipment Kit
At the heart of the system is the VORTEX Reflux Equipment Kit.
It includes two VORTEX Air Cooled Condenser modules together with the CREATE+ modular components, column packing, tri-clamps and gaskets required to assemble the reflux configuration.
The product pathway uses 304-grade stainless steel tubes surrounded by 1060-grade aluminium cooling fins. Integrated fans move air across the fins to dissipate heat without requiring continuous cooling water.
The modular 2-inch tri-clamp design also provides compatibility with selected CREATE+ components and accessories.
CREATE+ Boiler 25L
The included CREATE+ Boiler provides the base for the VORTEX system.
Constructed from 304-grade stainless steel, the boiler has a maximum 25 litre capacity and 2200W maximum heating power.
Dual element control allows the boiler to operate at full 2200W power or at a reduced 1100W setting when greater control is required.
A waste discharge tap with stainless steel ball valve makes emptying the boiler easier after use, while built-in boil-dry reset and thermal cut-out protection provide additional operating safeguards.
The boiler also includes the 2-inch Tri-Clamp to DN40 Threaded Adapter required for compatible CREATE+ equipment.
Reconfigurable 2-in-1 VORTEX Equipment
The VORTEX Reflux Equipment Kit is more than a dedicated reflux configuration.
Its modular components can also be reconfigured to support air-cooled alembic distillation when used with the appropriate additional compatible equipment.
This flexibility makes VORTEX particularly useful for distillers who want to expand or alter their equipment configuration over time.
