Still Spirits Small Copper Parrot Head

Description

The Still Spirits Small Copper Parrot Head lets you monitor the alcohol percentage of your distillate while your still is running. Designed for the Air Still Pro, Air Still and other compatible small stills, it provides a convenient way to track changes in ABV without repeatedly taking separate samples.

As distillate leaves the condenser, simply direct it into the collection cone. The liquid then fills the Parrot Head around a suitable alcometer, allowing you to monitor the alcohol percentage throughout the run.

Monitor ABV During Distillation

Using a proofing parrot removes the need to stop and transfer individual samples into a separate measuring vessel.

Instead, the distillate continuously enters the collection cone and surrounds the alcometer. As a result, you can follow changes in alcohol percentage as the run progresses.

This makes it easier to monitor your distillate and helps you decide when to make cuts or finish the distillation.

Designed for Small Stills

The compact design makes this Parrot Head particularly suitable for the Air Still Pro, Air Still and other compatible small stills.

In addition, its moulded copper base allows the assembled unit to stand securely on a suitable bench or table beside your still.

The simple freestanding design also makes setup straightforward. Therefore, you can position the Parrot Head beneath the condenser outlet without adding a permanently mounted component to your still.

High-Quality Copper Construction

Still Spirits constructs the Small Parrot Head from high-quality copper.

The assembled unit measures approximately 195mm high and accepts suitable alcometers measuring less than 23mm in diameter.

However, the unit can read no greater than 174mm from the base of the alcometer. Therefore, check the dimensions of your alcometer before use.

Please note that an alcometer is not included with the Parrot Head.
